Fleming Joins Garmann/Miller

 Jason Fleming

 Jason Fleming of Ada has recently joined the firm as a Construction Administrator.  Fleming holds a Level I Aggregate Certificate through the Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Mineral Association (OAIMA) as well as a Level II Asphalt Certificate through the Ohio Department of Transportation.  His responsibilities will include facilitating the construction process between the owner, architect and contractors.  He formerly worked for Shelly Materials in Findlay, Ohio in the Quality Control Department.  He brings 11 years experience in commercial and residential construction to the firm.

Village of Versailles Emergency Services Facility to Hold Open House Dedication

The Village of Versailles will be holding an Open House Dedication for their recently completed Emergency Services Facility located at 320 Baker Road.  The facility was designed to accommodate both the Fire Department and the Emergency Medical Services; previously located in two separate buildings within the Village.  The 16,800 sq. ft. building includes a 2,200 sq. ft. mezzanine, five bays to house new and existing equipment, complete with living quarters for the emergency services personnel.  The Open House Dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on October 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. - the public is invited.

Construction Specifications Writer

Garmann/Miller Architects-Engineers of Minster, Ohio is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Designer with a minimum Associates degree; Bachelors degree preferred, AutoCAD knowledge is required.  Mechanical Technician to assist in the design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing systems.  Additional qualifications for this position include a take charge individual with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.  Must also have good communication skills and be detail oriented.
