For Ayersville Local Schools, the idea of a new K-12 facility has been a vision several years in the making. In April 2017, construction began and on September 5, 2018, students started the school year in a brand new building. The community is very proud of the new facility and the exciting things ahead. At the dedication ceremony, Brad Garmann said the community should be proud of the new school. "This is an enduring symbol of the community for years to come," he said.

The two-story building features educational spaces, arts and sciences, two gymnasiums, a two-story media center, a full-service kitchen and administrative suites. A large commons space separates the lower and upper grade levels and will also be used as an auditeria. The first floor commons area and corridors are epoxy terrazzo and incorporate the school colors and logo. Two playground spaces were created, as well as outdoor learning areas, including a small amphitheater space.
