Garmann/Miller Architects-Engineers has added three professionals across various disciplines to its full-service design team. Ted Musielewicz, AIA (right in photo), has been hired to lead the firm’s newly opened Columbus office; while Dylan Link (middle in photo), mechanical designer for engineering; and Doug Rentz (left), director of marketing/communications; will work out of the company’s Minster location.

Musielewicz comes to GMAE from Columbus-based Acock Associates Architects. The Clintonville native is a 22-year veteran architect with design and management experience on a range of projects that include office and commercial, institutional, multi-family, mixed-use and residential assignments. Musielewicz is registered in Ohio and Pennsylvania and has been certified by the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards since 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame (1996), is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has served on the Builder’s Exchange Craftsmanship Award Committee.

Link, from Celina, held positions as new product supplier quality engineer and manufacturing quality engineer at Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University (2015) and will contribute to the design and functionality of building systems within GMAE’s diverse portfolio of K-12 education, civic, healthcare, industrial and recreation facilities.

Rentz, a Coldwater native, was employed at the National Tour Association in Lexington, Ky., since 2004, most recently as senior director, communication and marketing. He oversaw NTA’s branding and publicity programs, and was active in its advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C., to promote travel to, from and within North America. In addition to his role at NTA, he maintained membership in the Public Relations Society of America and wrote for various local and travel industry publications. He is a graduate of Wright State (1995) with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and earned his Master of Arts from Auburn University in 2001.
