A groundbreaking ceremony took place on Wednesday afternoon, May 16, for the STAR (Sheriff’s Treatment And Recovery House). This transitional housing facility will be located at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Sidney. The new 4,269 square foot building will house up to 20 persons who have completed their incarceration and want to live in a safe environment while continuing to work on their recovery.
